👋 I'm Ty Barho.

After getting a full ride to TCU (academic), I dropped out of college with a 1.8 GPA.

I was embarrassed, and didn't know how I would ever amount to anything.

I was always broke. I usually had to choose between having water or electricity each month. One time, I even ate tuna fish with marinara.

I was a total burnout, destined for solitude.

I mean, who would want to marry a guy like me?

Then, while working a $6 / hour job at a sign shop, I got asked to design a website, because I knew how to use Photoshop.

I designed it, and got super curious about to my design actually work.

A couple of friends of mine (and a mountain of books) helped me learn how to code.

Together, we started building more sites & apps.

Eventually, we built BuildASign.com.

It became a 9 figure business, and sold to VistaPrint (CMPR).

Since then, I've become a serial product builder. I've had multiple exits to publicly traded companies (like SYY), built dozens of high performance product teams, and hundreds of amazing software products. I've presented to Fortune 50 board rooms, helped startups through Seed to Series B, and still love to code.

Today, I help others build amazing product teams.

And, as you can see, I did eventually get married. And we have 6 kids.

So I'm never alone. Never. Not... for... one... second. 😅
